Sometimes being a freelance magazine writer has some perks beyond equal.
Today I was invited to the "Fly Me to the Moon" premiere in New York, a film about houseflies in 1969 that stowaway in the Apollo 11 spacecraft. The film might be called "groundbreaking" for being the first animated film produced specifically for 3D viewing.
There are many things about the film itself that deserve criticism, though the science behind it is not one of them. In fact, it attempted to be so true a reenactment that the filmmakers even cast one of the Apollo 11 astronauts to play himself.
Here I am meeting THE Buzz Aldrin.
